Ultimately the Indi alliance has run out of steam in West Bengal too. On Sunday afternoon, Mamata Banerjee announced candidates for all the seats in Bengal. Due to which it was decided that TMC and Congress will face each other in Bengal. At the same time, the uneasiness of the Left Front has increased due to the delay in alliance with Congress. BJP has also announced its candidates for 20 seats in the state.
Before the announcement of Lok Sabha election dates, political parties have started revealing their cards. BJP and Congress have released the first list of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections, while on Sunday, Mamata Banerjee’s party TMC has also released the list of 42 candidates.
Trinamool national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee announced the names of the candidates in the presence of Trinamool Congress supremo and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee from the stage of the Brigade rally in Kolkata. TMC has announced the names of candidates for all 42 Lok Sabha seats of Bengal. There are many special things in TMC’s list which will surprise.
For example, Didi has fielded cricketer Yusuf Pathan against Baharampur seat from where Congress fire brigade leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury is the MP. Not only this, Didi has also fielded her nephew Abhishek Banerjee in the election field and given the message that Abhishek can take charge of the party in the times to come. So let us know what is the special thing in TMC’s list which is surprising.
- In the Lok Sabha elections 2019, Mamata Banerjee had surprised actresses by fielding them, but this time she has surprised everyone by canceling the ticket of actress Nusrat Jahan from Basirhat seat and actress Mimi Chakraborty from Jadavpur seat. Haji Nurul Islam has been made the candidate from Basirhat. This time all eyes were on Basirhat Lok Sabha seat because the Sandeshkhali area where there was uproar comes under this Lok Sabha constituency.
- Congress fire brigade leader Adhir Ranjan Choudhary, who always opposes Mamata Banerjee, has fielded cricketer Yusuf Pathan against her. - Mamta has once again expressed confidence in Bihari Babu from Asansol seat. BJP had made Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh its candidate from here but Pawan Singh has refused to contest the election from here.
- The ticket of Arjun Singh, who joined Trinamool after winning the election from Barrackpore seat on BJP ticket in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, has been canceled. Mamata Banerjee has made state government minister Partha Bhowmik the candidate in place of Arjun Singh from Barrackpore.
- Mamata Banerjee has fielded her nephew Abhishek Banerjee from Diamond Harbor parliamentary seat. If Abhishek Banerjee is successful in winning the elections from here, then he can take charge of TMC in the coming times.
From Vishnupur Lok Sabha seat, TMC has fielded Sujata Mandal Khan, who is the wife of BJP MP Soumitra Khan. BJP has fielded Soumitra Khan from here. Therefore, an interesting contest can be seen between husband and wife on this seat. - Didi has placed her bet on former IPS Prasun Banerjee on Malda North seat. Pruson Banerjee has recently taken Veeraras. He is a 2006 batch IPS officer of West Bengal cadre.
