Once again during the season, Oklahoma City Thunder and Dallas Mavericks met and staged an electrifying duel from start to finish for basketball lovers. The Oklahoma duo continues to produce big numbers and decide games. Shooting guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was once again the team’s top scorer with 31 points, nine rebounds and five assists in his 37 minutes on the court, while Jalen Williams scored 27 points, five assists and four rebounds in 35 minutes. The surprise of the night was the good performance of Josh Giddey, who came off the bench to score 18 points, five assists and three rebounds in just 22 minutes.

In the absence of Luka Doncic, who remains injured and will undergo tests this week, the one who took the lead on Thursday night was point guard Kyrie Irving, the scorer of the match. He scored 36 points, 12 assists and four rebounds in 38 minutes on the court, while Tim Hardaway Jr scored 23 points and nine rebounds in 31 minutes. In addition to him, Daniel Gafford scored 19 points and 15 rebounds, while Derrick Jones Jr contributed 10 points.

The victory keeps the Oklahoma City Thunder at the top of the Western Conference with 46 wins and 20 losses, tied with the second-place Denver Nuggets who play this Friday (15). The team returns to the court next Saturday (16), away from home, against the Memphis Grizzlies.
