At the 2nd India-France Strategic Space Dialogue held in Delhi, both sides discussed the ongoing strong bilateral engagement in the space sector and ways for further cooperation in the government and commercial sectors. During this, the progress made after the first strategic space talks was also reviewed. The space talks were co-chaired by Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra from the Indian side.
The two countries discussed strategies for advancing cooperation in the public and private sectors as well as their continued strong bilateral engagement in the space sector at the 2nd India-France Strategic Space Dialogue, which was held in Delhi. This also included a review of the developments following the first strategic space talks.
Anne Marie Descotes, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Europe-Foreign Affairs from France, and Foreign Secretary Vinay Kwatra from India co-chaired the Space Dialogue. Both parties also talked about the implementation of the recently signed Letter of Intent on Defense Space Industrial Cooperation, capacity building and training, and space exchanges during this.

Both sides discussed space security
Earlier on Monday, India and France held bilateral talks to discuss disarmament and non-proliferation of nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. The two sides discussed space security, conventional weapons including AI in the military domain, lethal autonomous weapons systems and multilateral export control arrangements.
Jaishankar holds meeting with Anne Marie Descotes
Along with this, Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar also held a meeting on Monday with Anne Marie Descotes, Secretary General of the French Ministry of Europe-Foreign Affairs. He said that the strategic partnership between the two countries is rapidly strengthening.
