Team India’s young batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has been rewarded for his excellent performance in the recently played Test series against England. ICC gave Yashasvi the Player of the Month award for the month of February.
Let us tell you that apart from Jaiswal, ICC had also nominated the names of New Zealand’s star batsman Kane Williamson and Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka for this award, but Yashasvi won this award by defeating both the players.

Yashasvi Jaiswal said after receiving the award from ICC that I am very happy after receiving this award from ICC and I hope that I will have more awards in the future. This was my first five-match Test series and I had a good experience with my teammates. I will continue my hard work in the practice sessions and am constantly trying to learn from the seniors. I felt very good after scoring a double century in Rajkot and now I am looking towards the next series.

Annabel Sutherland also received the ICC Player of the Month award. Annabel played an important role in winning the test against South Africa in Perth. After winning the ICC award, Annabel said that it is a great pleasure to win the Player of the Month award.
