Seven more were discovered in two Joliet residences on Monday.
A gunman killed eight individuals by shooting at three different locations in the Chicago suburb of Illinois, USA. He later shot himself in a gunfight with Texas police officers. Police identified him as Romeo Nance, a 23-year-old.
In a Facebook post, police said, “The gunman carried out attacks in Joliet and Will County.” He then fatally shot himself during a gunfight with Texas police forces. The attacker is Romeo Nance, who is 23 years old. Nance is still at large, according to authorities. It was discovered near Natalia, Texas. Police claimed the motivation for the murders was unknown at the time, but the assailant, Nance, was previously familiar with the victims.

Police Chief William Evans stated that he has been in the police force for 29 years, but this is his worst experience. He claimed there were warnings on social media about an armed and dangerous criminal.

Joliet police stated in a Facebook post early Monday afternoon that they were investigating “several” people who had been found dead, and they released photographs of the guy and a vehicle. The officers described the vehicle as a red Toyota Camry. Earlier Monday, the Will County Sheriff’s Office posted photographs of the identical automobile on Facebook, claiming it was spotted in two different shootings Sunday afternoon.
Will County Chief Deputy Dan Jungles said during a news conference that police officers had been keeping an eye on the victims’ homes since Sunday evening in the hopes of apprehending the shooting suspect if he returned. When no one arrived, the police officers entered the house.
According to the Associated Press, authorities also believe Nance was linked to another shooting in Joliet that injured a man on Sunday, but would not discuss their evidence.
