Amidst the day-to-day changes and developments in technology like artificial intelligence, Pope Francis stressed the ethical use of this technology. He said human values like compassion, kindness, morality, and forgiveness are decreasing. The Pope appealed to guarantee fundamental human rights and promote peace during the use of AI. He termed the conspiracy to spread misinformation, the promotion of discrimination as well as tendency to misrepresent information/images as the most important concerns.

After this, it is expected that all the countries under the EU will regulate their technologies in a better way. These rules are being considered as the gold standard for governments.
