Gilgeous-Alexander attempted to take responsibility from the start to the finish of the game for the Thunder but was unable to prevent the franchise’s 16th loss in the NBA regular season. After the game, the guard had 28 points.
Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams both performed admirably, with 48 points and 13 rebounds combined. Nonetheless, OKC’s loss at the Delta Center isolates them even further from the Clippers in the battle for Western Conference leadership.
