Despite the franchise’s ‘below average’ collective effort, winger Lauri Markkanen was the game’s highlight, scoring 33 points and 11 assists in 36 minutes of play.

John Collins and Keyonte George were also important, as their outstanding performances helped the club lead by Will Hardy win their 26th game of the season.

In their second straight game at the Delta Center, the Utah Jazz did their homework again and beat a tough opponent. Against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Will Hardy’s team secured an important 124-117 for the sequence of matches.

Unlike other recent games, the Jazz’s collective power was a little below average. Even so, six players surpassed 10 points in the match and were decisive for the franchise’s good performance.

Gilgeous-Alexander attempted to take responsibility from the start to the finish of the game for the Thunder but was unable to prevent the franchise’s 16th loss in the NBA regular season. After the game, the guard had 28 points.

Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams both performed admirably, with 48 points and 13 rebounds combined. Nonetheless, OKC’s loss at the Delta Center isolates them even further from the Clippers in the battle for Western Conference leadership.

Seeking to recover from their defeat against the Jazz, the Oklahoma City Thunder face the Mavericks this Saturday afternoon (10) and, the following day, host the Sacramento Kings at home.

The team remains inspired and understands that it is possible to seek first place overall in the Conference so that it has an advantage in deciding the big playoff clashes at the Paycom Center.
