The Los Angeles Lakers’ victory over the Milwaukee Bucks, in the last round of the NBA, 123 x 122, featured a great show from D’Angelo Russell, who scored 44 points. But today, against the Minnesota Timberwolves, another milestone caught attention: Anthony Davis’ 25 rebounds, the most this season for the California team’s player. Furthermore, Davis completed the remarkable performance with 25 points, a heavy double-double.
Playing for 38 minutes, James did not repeat his best performances in a Lakers shirt at the beginning of the match. However, at the right time, he managed to resume his leading role and became the top scorer, scoring 29 points.
On the Timberwolves side, Naz Reid and Anthony Edwards were the big names, with 25 points each.
At 39, LeBron suffers from injuries in the NBA
Despite his good performance against the Timberwolves, Lebron James suffers from injuries. Recovering from the most recent one, the player played a sacrifice role against the Timberwolves, managing to perform satisfactorily. Since the start of the season, on at least nine occasions, the player has had to be absent for treatment, meaning the team has to be without its star.

Without Lebron James, the Lakers had five victories in the NBA, the last being against the Bucks, and four defeats, showing that James’ teammates can play even without the athlete’s presence. At the beginning of the duel against the Timberwolves, LeBron was unable to impose his rhythm and only grew in the final minutes, but his teammates managed to do the job.
The duel started positively for the Lakers, who won the first quarter against the Timberwolves, and were ahead for the first part of the duel, but suffered a comeback on the way back to the break. In the last quarter, the Lakers counted on impressive performances from Lebron James and Russell and secured a 120 x 109 victory.
The Lakers return to play in the NBA next Wednesday (13), when they face the Sacramento Kings. On the other hand, on Tuesday (12), the Timberwolves will have a tough clash against the Los Angeles Clippers.
