What is land for job issue?
The alleged scam occurred between 2004 and 2009, while Lalu Yadav served as Railway Minister. In addition to the RJD national president, the charge sheet includes the name of the then-Railway General Manager. In exchange for railway employment, Lalu Prasad Yadav allegedly transferred the candidates’ and their families’ lands for sale in the names of his wife Rabri Devi and daughter Misa Bharti.
In October of last year, the CBI filed charges against former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad, Rabri Devi, her daughter Misa Bharti, and 13 others in connection with the land-for-jobs scheme.
