India has given Australia a target of 223 runs. Team India, who came to bat first after losing the toss, scored 222 runs after losing three wickets in 20 overs. Rituraj Gaikwad played an unbeaten inning of 123 runs in 57 balls. Apart from this, Tilak Verma remained unbeaten after scoring 31 runs in 24 balls. There was an unbeaten partnership of 141 runs in 59 balls between the two for the fourth wicket. Australia bowled Glenn Maxwell in the 20th over.

Third blow to India

India got its third blow in the 11th over at a score of 81. Aaron Hardy got Suryakumar Yadav caught by wicketkeeper Matthew Wade. Surya could score 39 runs in 29 balls. In his innings, he hit five fours and two sixes. At present Rituraj Gaikwad is at the crease after scoring 28 runs and Tilak Verma has scored one run. Surya made a partnership of 57 runs in 47 balls with Ruturaj for the third wicket. After 11 overs, India’s score is 88 runs for three wickets.

Suryakumar-Rituraj took over the innings

India has lost two wickets and amassed 74 runs after nine overs. At the moment, Suryakumar Yadav is batting with 34 runs in 24 balls, and Rituraj Gaikwad is batting with 20 runs in 19 balls. The two have been in partnership for fifty years.

First blow to India

India suffered a setback on the score of 14 in the very second over of the innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal lost his lead in pursuit of a big shot and went to the pavilion. Matthew Wade was the wicketkeeper and he made no mistakes when Jason Behrendorff’s ball got past the edge of his bat. Ishan Kishan and Ruturaj Gaikwad are currently at the crease. India is up to 18 runs for one wicket after two overs.
