Earlier this week, as Cyclone Fengal skirted the coast of Sri Lanka, it caused the deaths of at least 12 people, including six children. In one case, the Vepery police rescued a 60-year-old woman named Samanthi, who was found ill and abandoned in her home. Nagar, where elderly individuals were relocated to safer locations.
