After this stormy innings, captain Harmanpreet revealed that he batted with his practice bat because it had good grip, but after the match the referee came to check his bat. Harmanpreet told that when we were practicing, I played with the same bat with which I batted today. This bat was different from my match bat, because the grip of my bat was a bit loose and it was good for the practice match, so I thought of batting with my practice bat only and I did the same and it worked.
Captain Harmanpreet further said, “Hey, that referee is following me, checking the bat, as if he doesn’t know what I have put in the bat. (Harmanpreet laughs)
