Who is Suella Braverman, who was fired twice in Britain? Sunak’s action has caused controversy.
On Monday, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak fired Suella Braverman, his home minister. Her opponents claimed that instead of concentrating on the portfolio she was assigned, she was more interested in the Tory leadership campaign. Suella Braverman, a former British Home Secretary, was fired twice in a span of one year and twenty-two days.

Prime Minister Rishi Sunak fired the daughter of immigrants of Indian descent on Monday for remarks she had made that “undermined the authority” of the PM’s position and called into question the public’s trust in the London police. Following remarks she made regarding the way the police handled the massacre, Interior Minister Suella Braverman was sacked. Braverman charged that the London police were being unduly forgiving of Palestinian supporters.

All the controversy over Braverman’s article

Braverman last week published an article attacking the police’s handling of a march on Saturday, criticizing the Sunak government for being too soft on Palestine supporters. He acknowledged that there were unruly people on both sides, but that his opinion in a UK newspaper had “undermined the operational independence of the police and public trust.”

A few days before Armistice Day, this article was published. The London rally in support of Palestine drew thousands of participants on Saturday. The Metropolitan Police estimated that the number of people gathered in the capital was close to 3 lakh. Among the biggest protests in British history was this one. He has, nevertheless, previously faced accusations that he undermines the prime minister’s authority.

Braverman was also dismissed in 2022

She was sacked in October 2022 while working for former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss for violating the ministerial code by sending an official document via email to a fellow MP. But a week later, she was back at work because Truss had resigned after losing to Sunak.
