Rimac Nevera has won the title of the world’s fastest-production electric vehicle. The company claims that the speed of their electric vehicle is 412 km/h. The speed of this EV has been tested on the Automotive Testing Papenberg Track in Germany, which is 4 kilometers straight, where this vehicle was able to accelerate from 0-100 in just 1.95 seconds.

The Rimac Nevera is one of the fastest production cars in the world, recently breaking more than 20 records in a single day. Now Nevera has added another world record to his list. The Navara now holds the Guinness World Record for the fastest speed achieved in reverse by a production car. The electric hypercar managed to reach 170 mph (274 km/h) in reverse. In addition to being the fastest EV production car, the Nevera also holds the title of being the fastest car over the quarter mile, which was accomplished in 8.582 seconds. The vehicle is powered by 4 electric motors capable of generating a power of 1,914 bhp, while the cars delivered to customers come with an electronically limited top speed of 352 km/h.

The title of the world’s fastest production car is still held by the Koenigsegg Agera RS. This vehicle was tested in the year 2017 when its top speed reached 447.18 km/h. This car generates a power of 1,360 bhp. The top speed of the Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+ was tested in 2019, where the sports car reached 490.84 km/h, but the run was only recorded in one way and hence was not considered official.

Similarly, in 2020, the speed of SSC Tuatara was recorded at 508.73 km/h. However, this car was also not included in the list of the world’s fastest cars because it was not roadworthy.
