Starship Rocket Elon Musk’s company SpaceX is preparing to launch its rocket Starship again. Starship can be launched on November 17. In April this year, it was destroyed due to an explosion just minutes after its launch. The launching permit has been approved by the federal regulator.
Elon Musk’s company SpaceX may once again try to launch its rocket Starship on Friday. This possibility is being expressed after getting permission from the federal regulator. It was destroyed by an explosion shortly after its first launch in April in South Texas. No one was injured during the launching. However, the launching pad was extensively damaged.
Federal Aviation Administration issued license
SpaceX has been issued a license by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) after meeting safety, environmental, and other necessary standards.
What is the plan?
SpaceX has a three billion dollar contract from NASA, which includes landing astronauts on the lunar surface through this spacecraft by the year 2025. The company is eyeing Friday morning.
Explosion four minutes after launch
It is noteworthy that the Rocket Starship was launched on April 20 this year, but it exploded just four minutes after its launch. The starship crashed in the Gulf of Mexico. However, no one was injured. After the first mission failed, SpaceX made dozens of improvements to this rocket. The FAA had completed a safety review of the Starship launch about a month ago. The review found that it needed more time to complete the environmental review.
A case was filed against FAA
The US Fish and Wildlife Service reported that several pieces of concrete, sheets of steel, and other objects had fallen thousands of feet from the launching pad. Wildlife and environmental groups sued the FAA after finding adverse effects on the environment caused by the Starship program near Boca Chica Beach.
