There is a scene in the film, where Vijay Singh (Ranbir Kapoor) asks Zoya Riaz (Trupti Dimri) to lick his shoes. This is the scene when Zoya has to prove her love for Vijay. Users did not like this scene. Even Ram Gopal Varma has criticized this scene.
Ruckus over pad change dialogue
Users have expressed disapproval of something that Vijay says to his wife Geetanjali (Rashmika Mandanna) in a movie scene regarding periods. It is revealed in one of the movie’s scenes that Ranbir has had surgery. When he enters the room, he informs Geetanjali that she bemoans her monthly period every month. On the other hand, he is walking around with a urine bag and catheter while donning an adult nappy. In the movie, Ranbir Kapoor declares, “You do so much drama to change four pads a month, I am doing 50 every day.”
Entering college with a gun
One of the controversial scenes is when Ranbir brings a gun to his sister’s college to teach the goons a lesson. As much as the brother’s love for his sister won applause, this scene was even criticized. There are discussions about this scene on social media and WhatsApp.

The adult movie ‘Animal’ also has some double-meaning dialogues. In one scene, Ranbir, while asking Rashmika to have a healthy baby, says something which the users have termed as ‘toxic masculinity’.
