The Rolls-Royce Specter is based on the brand’s all-aluminum spaceframe architecture called the Architecture of Luxury. It shares the base with the new Phantom Ghost and Cullinan models. The Rolls-Royce Specter is the first step in the automaker’s journey to go fully electric by 2030. Powering the electric coupe is a 102 kWh battery pack that will give a range of 530 km on a single charge.
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has officially launched its first all-electric offering, the Spectre, in the Indian market. Prices for the Rolls-Royce Specter start at Rs 7.5 crore (ex-showroom) before options kick in, making it the most expensive EV on sale in the country.
Design and dimensions
The Rolls-Royce Specter is based on the brand’s all-aluminum spaceframe architecture, dubbed the Architecture of Luxury. It shares the base with the new Phantom, Ghost, and Cullinan models. The Specter follows the Rolls-Royce design with split headlamps paying tribute to the Phantom coupe.
The Spectre’s design is true to Rolls-Royce’s legacy, with plenty of unique “wow” aspects. The distinctive Rolls-Royce grille at the front is now lit, creating a wonderful ambiance at night. The Spirit of Ecstasy decoration is aerodynamic in design, contributing to the Spectre’s outstanding drag coefficient of 0.25cd. It is equipped with 23-inch alloy wheels and vertical taillights that are elegant and clean.
Interior
The cabin of the Rolls-Royce Specter exudes opulence with the Starlight Liner now incorporated into the roof as well as the door pads. The Specter nameplate on the dashboard is illuminated using an array of over 5,500 star-like lights. Rolls-Royce has completely integrated the new seats and rear unit into the internal body panels.
The Spectre has a fully digital driver’s display built on Rolls-Royce’s latest ‘Spirit software platform. A digital display meets the co-driver, which can display digitized art or a personalized welcome animation chosen by the owner. Because this is a Rolls-Royce, you may personalize every aspect of the vehicle, including its color scheme, trim, and even having your name embroidered on the seats.
