Amazing performance after a strange start
By the way, Rahmanullah Gurbaz had a very poor start in the first ODI against South Africa. He was out without opening the account in the first match. After this, he made a brilliant comeback and played a quick innings of 105 runs in 110 balls.
Gurbaz thrashed the Proteas bowlers and laid the foundation of Afghanistan’s victory with his aggressive batting. After this, the young right-handed opener also played an effective innings in the third ODI and scored 89 runs in 94 balls. Gurbaz showed that he has the ability to shine even under pressure.
Dominance of Indian players
If we look at the ICC ODI batting rankings, we will find that Pakistan’s star batsman Babar Azam occupies the top spot. After this, the next three positions are ruled by Indian players. Indian captain Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli occupy the second, third and fourth positions respectively. Ireland’s Harry Tector completes the top-5 list.
