In the final stretch of the regular season, the Los Angeles Lakers have been gaining more and more strength. Players who previously didn’t appear well in games now contribute double digits every game, and facing the Philadelphia 76ers was no different.
Six of the nine players who took the court wearing the Lakers’ purple jersey scored at least 10 points. Anthony Davis was the scorer with 23 points. LeBron is right behind on the box score with 20. In addition to the two stars, Spenecr Dinwiddie (11), D’Angelo Russel (14), Rui Hachimura (14) and Austin Reeves (14) also appeared well in the game, in addition to the points noted.
The match was disputed from start to finish. The two teams fought possession after possession to see who could reach the final minutes of the game with the advantage, and the Lakers were victorious 101 x 94.

The Sixers became more stressed towards the end of the game, with Tobias Harris at one point shouting at the referee and Tyrese Maxey trying to calm the player’s nerves so that the foul he had committed did not become a technical warning. In fact, Maxey led the 76ers in points with 27.

Maxey showed all his talent by scoring layups at high speed and selecting his shots well from the court. In the end, he ended up being blocked by Anthony Davis on a block that sealed the victory for the Lakers.
76ers and Lakers are currently in the play-in tournament zone
The supporting players on the Sixers side didn’t do as well as they did on the Lakers. Kelly Oubre Jr was the team’s second scorer with 19 points and one of the player’s best performances recently. Thobias Harris had 16, and Mo Bamba had 11 points.
The defeat does not affect the Sixers’ momentum in terms of qualifying for the playoffs. Now qualified for the play-in tournament in the Eastern Conference – much like the Lakers in the West – Philadelphia hopes to count on Joel Embiid for one of the most important games of the season so far.
According to the official NBA bracket, if the postseason started in the next round, the 76ers would face the Heat. Meanwhile, the Lakers would play against the Warriors in search of qualifying for the knockout stages.
