The prototype of Mahindra’s electric car has been seen, and it is an electric version of the XUV700. This has occurred at the company’s manufacturing facility. According to the images, it will have a similar appearance to the XUV700. In some circumstances, however, this will be altogether different.
Prototype revealed
The XUV.e8 in the image bears a significant resemblance to the prototype. The future vehicle features newly designed alloy wheels, and the shape of the bumper appears to have been completely modified. The picture, however, does not show the vehicle’s back profile. The car will be based on this platform
Mahindra’s upcoming XUV.e8 is set to become the first electric vehicle built on the innovative INGLO platform. The INGLO platform is versatile and can serve as a basis for vehicles ranging from 4.3 meters to 5 meters.
Talking about the dimensions of this vehicle, it is estimated to be 4,740 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, and 1,760 mm in height. The wheelbase is expected to be 2,762 mm.
Launch date and battery pack
This vehicle’s launch date has yet to be officially confirmed. However, the Mahindra XUV.e8 is projected to be released in December 2024. The next electric car will most likely include two different sorts of battery packs. Blade and Prismatic are the names given to these.
Their capacity will be 60 to 80 kW, with a fast-charging potential of 175 kW. Its battery can be charged to 80% in less than 30 minutes using fast charging.
