The US-backed Kurds-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have said that six fighters have been killed in a drone strike on the training grounds of the al-Omar base. No American soldier was harmed in the attack.

Militia Islamic Resistance took responsibility for the attack
The SDF blamed militias backed by the Syrian government for the attack. Iran-backed Iraqi militia Islamic Resistance has claimed responsibility for the attack by releasing a video. In this video, attack drones are shown flying and attacking. On January 28, the same organization killed three American soldiers by carrying out a drone attack on the American military base in Jordan. Since Israel attacked Gaza, there have been more than 160 attacks on US military bases in Syria and Iraq. Dozens of American soldiers and others have been injured in these attacks.
Four Houthi missiles destroyed in the Red Sea
In the Red Sea, the US Navy has shot down four anti-ship missiles fired by Yemen’s Houthi rebels in the air. These missiles were fired at target ships. Earlier on Sunday, America and Britain, in a joint operation, targeted 36 military bases of Houthi in Yemen and destroyed their weapons.
Turkey kills 11 Kurds after entering Syria
Turkish security forces on Monday killed 11 members of the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) in Syria. Turkey calls this organization a terrorist organization. The Turkish Defense Ministry has said that these YPG terrorists were targeted when they were plotting to attack Turkish soldiers.
It is noteworthy that Turkey often enters the Syrian border and takes action against Kurdish fighters. Turkey describes the YPG as an ally of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), which it has declared a terrorist organization.
