Lexus India has started deliveries of the fifth generation RX 500h F Sport Performance in the domestic market. The new generation RX 500h is completely different in terms of design and performance compared to its predecessor. A reliable 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder engine with a Direct 4-hybrid electric system calibrated to produce 247 horsepower powers the vehicle.
The fifth generation RX 500h F Sport Performance is now being delivered domestically by Lexus India. The January 2023 Auto Expo in India was when the Lexus RX 500h made its debut. The ex-showroom pricing of the new Lexus RX 500h F Sport Performance variant is Rs 1.18 crore.
Design and Engine
The new generation RX 500h is completely different in terms of design and performance compared to its predecessor. The model comes with a tried and tested 2.4-litre inline 4-cylinder engine with Direct 4 hybrid electric system tuned to produce 247 bhp. It is paired with an electronically controlled variable transmission. The SUV can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 7.9 seconds.
Interior
The RX500h F Sport Performance features Dynamic Rear Steering, which adjusts up to four degrees of steering to the rear wheels in conjunction with front-wheel steering. The interior of the RX 500h comes with Tajuma Cockpit and is given leather upholstery. The model also features an eaxle for better efficiency from the motor and Active Sound Control, which enhances the exhaust note.
Driving mode
Above the RX 350h, which is now available for purchase in the nation, sits the new Lexus RX 500h F Sport Performance. Four driving modes are available for this model: Normal, Eco, Sport, and Custom. The Electronically Controlled Brake System (ECB) is another feature. The 21-inch aluminum alloy wheels on this SUV are included.
