One person was found dead after falling on the slope
Further north, a 31-year-old hiker was found dead after falling on the slopes of Mount Ecrines. Local broadcaster France-Bleu quoted rescue workers as saying that the hiker had wandered off the trail with a friend to look at the mountain goats.
