While seeking remand of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, ED has given detailed details along with evidence of the use of black money of Delhi Excise Policy Scam in Goa Assembly elections. ED presented a list of statements of the accused who gave the money as well as all the witnesses who delivered and used it.
According to him, out of the Rs 100 crore advance bribe taken from the South Lobby, Rs 45 crore was spent in the Goa elections. ED also informed that assets worth Rs 128.79 crore generated from crime have been traced and seized so far.
45 crores were sent through four routes for Goa elections
According to ED, Rs 45 crore was sent for Goa elections through four routes. Of these, about Rs 12 crore was sent through Ashok Chandu Bhai, Rs 7.1 crore was sent through Devang Solanki, Rs 16 crore was sent through Kirti Amba Lal and Rs 7.5 crore was sent through M/s Neelkanth. All of them work as agents in hawala business.
M/s Ma Ambe sent two crore rupees to Goa
M/s Ma Ambe, who worked as an aangadiya, had sent two crore rupees to Goa. The statements of all these are with the ED. Rajesh Joshi of Chariot Productions had an important role in the use of this money in Goa elections. ED also has the statements of many people associated with AAP’s election campaign in Goa, in which cash payments have been said.
Provided cash to AAP candidates in Goa
Cash was also provided to AAP candidates in Goa. Taking Rs 100 crore from the South Lobby and using it in Goa was being done under the supervision of Vijay Nair, another accused in the scam, and Delhi AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak.
ED holds Kejriwal responsible for money laundering
Holding Kejriwal directly responsible for money laundering, the ED referred to the statement of AAP treasurer and Rajya Sabha member ND Gupta. In which he told that as the party chief, Kejriwal used to take all the decisions. The election in-charge of the concerned state used them. But it was Kejriwal who decided who should be made the election in-charge.
I salute the shamelessness of Arvind Kejriwal, a party that emerged from a corruption crusade. Despite four of their leaders being in jail in corruption cases, including Kejriwal himself, they still have the audacity to say this.
