Not cooperating in investigation – ED
During his appearance in the court, ED said that Arvind Kejriwal’s statement has been recorded, but he has to confront one person. The seized digital data also has to be tested. CM Kejriwal is not cooperating with ED in the investigation.
The investigating agency further said that we have evidence that Kejriwal demanded a bribe of Rs 100 crore in the excise policy case. Kejriwal fielded many big advocates, can a common man do this?
Reddy’s Rs 55 crore should be investigated – Kejriwal
Meanwhile, on behalf of CM Kejriwal, senior advocate Mohit Mathur said that we are not opposing the remand, ED can keep Kejriwal for as many days as it wants. Senior advocate Ramesh Gupta said that the Rs 55 crore given by Reddy should also be investigated.
The Delhi Chief Minister said that a Supreme Court judge in one of his decisions said that taking bribe of Rs 100 crore is suspicious. In such a situation, it is not decided yet. Excise scam is that ED should tell in front of the whole country that you have committed a scam. After giving statement against me, Sharath Reddy gave Rs 55 crore to BJP through electoral bonds.
There is no evidence against me- Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal
Kejriwal said that this case has been going on for two years, I have been arrested, but there is no evidence against me. Manish Sisodia gave excise policy documents in my presence, many MLAs come to my residence, is there a basis to arrest a sitting CM. The accused give their statement, but their statements were taken again and again and when they gave statements against me and then they got bail.
