America took revenge for Jordan’s attack
- According to news agency PTI, the US attacked more than 85 targets of Iran-backed militias and Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Iraq and Syria to avenge the Jordanian attack.
- According to US Central Command, the military conducted airstrikes in Iraq and Syria against militia and Revolutionary Guard elements at 4 p.m. local time.

US military forces attacked more than 85 targets. Several aircraft, including long-range bombers sent from the US, were involved in the attack. US Central Command informed that the targets were attacked. They include command and control operations centers, intelligence centers, rocket and missile and unmanned aerial vehicle storage, logistics and ammunition supply chain centers of militia groups and their IRGC sponsors.
Joe Biden reacted to the air strike
President Joe Biden announced the US attacks on Friday. He stated that this is only the beginning; there would be other attacks. He stated that America is not involved in any conflicts in West Asia or anywhere else in the world. “However, those who wish to harm us should be aware of this. “If you harm any American, we will respond.”

Earlier, President Joe Biden had warned that the US would retaliate against militia groups and made it clear that this would not be a single attack but a multi-level response over time.
