Booking details
Cybertruck bookings were opened for USA customers just a few months ago and customer deliveries are likely to begin from November 30. It is reported that Tesla will initially start delivering only two of the three powertrain options on the Cybertruck.
Apart from this, there is a discussion on the internet that Tesla will deliver the first ten units of Cybertruck on November 30 and the remaining deliveries will start gradually.
Powertrain and payload
Tesla has previously said that the Cybertruck’s body is made of ultra-hard 30X cold-rolled stainless steel and claims it is capable of withstanding attacks from 9mm bullets.
It will be available in three powertrain options with three electric motors. The entry-level single-motor, rear-wheel-drive Cybertruck will accelerate from 0-100 kmph in 6.5 seconds and has a claimed range of 402 km.
At the same time, it can pull weight up to 3,400 kg. Its payload capacity is 1,360 kg, which is going to be standard across the range.
The mid-range dual-motor Cybertruck accelerates from 0-100 kmph in 4.5 seconds and has a similar range of 402 km. The tri-motor variant uses Tesla’s plaid EV powertrain, similar to the Model S plaid, and has a range of 804 km, with a towing capacity of 6,350 kg.
Interior
Like other Tesla models, the Cybertruck continues to get a minimalist dashboard layout, with a large 17-inch touchscreen display taking center stage. The vehicle seen in the spy shots gets a white and gray theme, which is likely to be offered as standard. Its square steering wheel is similar to Tesla’s. However, it does not have a yoke.
Features
A closer look at the touchscreen display reveals controls for the bed cover, suspension settings, steering adjustment, and wing mirror settings, and controls for child lock, headlamps, Sentry mode, car wash mode, and a few other functions. Like other Tesla models, the Cybertruck also has a frunk, which serves as storage space at the front.
