Mohammed Shami made a big revelation during a special interview with PUMA India. Shami reacted to his performance after taking 24 wickets in this World Cup. Along with this, he said that in the World Cup 2015, he used to play matches after getting injections. The doctors had flatly refused to let him play. He revealed his ordeal.

Those who try never lose. Everyone must have heard this saying at least once in their life.

If someone is determined to achieve something with true heart, then no matter how many difficulties he has to face, one day success itself kisses his feet. Only he who does not give up moves ahead in life. Something similar was seen with the Indian team’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami.

Mohammed Shami made everyone crazy by bowling brilliantly in the World Cup 2023. The life of Shami, who took 24 wickets in this World Cup, was also full of ups and downs, but he did not lose courage and turned his fortunes around.

Recently, 33-year-old Shami stated during an interview, which surprised everyone. Shami said that during the 2015 World Cup, he used to get injections before every match. He thought more for the country than his own life and gave his 100 percent in every match along with treatment.

Shami said, (“I endured the pain and played. Had any other player been in my place, he would not have played. I had two options but I did not take a rest and chose the country. I was told by the doctors to forget about playing, but before every match, I used to get injections and play the next Heart match. When you play for the country you forget everything.”)

Along with this, when Mohammed Shami was asked if he has become the highest wicket-taker for India in the World Cup, how are you feeling? So he said that I try to take wickets. I don’t set a target that I have to take so many wickets and my record will be made.

Shami further said, (“What happens with people is that they go to the ground before the match and look at the pitch with nails. I don’t take that kind of pressure, because after taking the ball you have to know how much scoring is there in the wicket and how much bounce is there. If it is, then you will not be able to know by suppressing such a pitch. The more simple you can be, the better you can perform. You should wake up in the morning, freshen up, drink tea, and listen to the song. He is a village man, new. Don’t get involved in things. Have to stay in the same background from where you came.”)
