New Jersey Police is investigating this case as a murder. The deceased have been identified as Tej Pratap Singh, 43, and his wife Sonal Parihar, 42, the Plainsboro Police Department said. The couple’s children aged 10 and 6 were also found dead. According to police, the four bodies were recovered around 4:30 pm on Wednesday, US time.
There is no major threat to the general public
Regarding the crime, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Plainsboro Police Department Chief Eamon Blanchard said that the police are investigating the cause of death from the angle of murder. According to reports, officers received a 911 call in Plainsboro on the evening of October 4. The police who arrived to investigate found four dead bodies inside the house. Post mortem of the dead bodies is being done. According to the police, initial investigation has revealed that there is no major threat to the general public.

Media reports after the death said that according to his LinkedIn profile, Tej Ness was working as a Lead APIX Engineer for Digital Engineering. According to relatives, Tej was an IT professional, while his wife Sonal Parihar was an HR professional.

According to reports, Tej Singh and Sonal Parihar bought their house for US$6.35 lakh (about Rs 5.28 crore) in August 2018. Neighbors also described the family as friendly. According to the woman, she also sent a message to Parihar that morning but did not receive any reply.
