The Bad Boys franchise began in 1995. The film was directed by Michael Bay, known for films like Armageddon, Pearl Harbor and Transformers. In 2003, its second part Bad Boys 2 was released. The third film of the franchise, Bad Boys for Life, came after 17 years in 2020. It was directed by Adil and Bilal, who also directed the fourth part.
Bad Boys is a buddy action comedy franchise. Will Smith and Martin appear in the film as Miami Police Department Detectives Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett.
